I discovered yoga in 2017. I suffer with perennial allergic rhinitis which keeps me feeling sick a lot. Think about the feeling of having the flu all the time, and that is how I feel. At the time I was also battling a breakup and depression. I would wake up every day feeling sick and with my body in pain. My first practice was just about 13 minutes long and I struggled to get through it. But I felt such a physical and emotional relief when I got through, it was amazing. As I continued to practice daily I began to notice improvements in my body and my mood.
